Ohio State Sen. Robert Schuler (R-Sycamore Township) died Friday night at his home after a battle with cancer.
He was in his 60s.
Mr. Schuler, who was term-limited out of his seat at the end of next year,
had served in the Ohio Senate since 2003 and in the Ohio
House of Representatives from 1993 to 2000.
He was a Sycamore Township trustee from 1988 to 1992 and served on Deer Park
Council from 1978 to 1985.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
